The Bang-Bang theorem via Baire category. A Dual Approach
The paper develops a new approach to the classical bang-bang theorem in linear control theory, based on Baire category. Among all controls which steer the system from the origin to a given point x̄, we consider those which minimize an auxiliary linear functional φ. For all φ in a residual set, we show that the minimizing control is unique and takes values within a set of extreme points.
متن کاملStrong Optimality for a Bang-Bang Trajectory
In this paper we give sufficient conditions for a bang-bang regular extremal to be a strong local optimum for a control problem in the Mayer form; strong means that we consider the C0 topology in the state space. The controls appear linearly and take values in a polyhedron, and the state space and the end point constraints are finite-dimensional smooth manifolds. In the case of bang-bang extrem...
متن کاملoptimization of bang-of-bang ts-fuzzy based via darla technique for abs system
anti-lock braking system (abs) which is a nonlinear and time variant system may not be easily controlled by classic control methods. this is due to the fact that classic linear controllers are just capable of controlling a specific plant in small region of state space. to overcome this problem, a more powerful control technique must be employed for complex nonlinear plants. fuzzy controllers ar...
متن کاملSTRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION USING BIG BANG-BIG CRUNCH ALGORITHM: A REVIEW
The big bang-big crunch (BB-BC) algorithm is a popular metaheuristic optimization technique proposed based on one of the theories for the evolution of the universe. The algorithm utilizes a two-phase search mechanism: big-bang phase and big-crunch phase. In the big-bang phase the concept of energy dissipation is considered to produce disorder and randomness in the candidate population while in ...
متن کاملModeling of Jitter Characteristics for the Second Order Bang-Bang CDR
Bang-Bang clock and data recovery (BBCDR) circuits are hard nonlinear systems due to the nonlinearity introduced by the binary phase detector (BPD). The specification of the CDR frequency response is determined by jitter tolerance and jitter transfer. In this paper, jitter transfer and jitter tolerance of the second-order BBCDR are characterized by formulating the time domain waveforms. As a re...
